Your Entertainment Everywhere
- By Integr8
Today we will be covering how iCloud works with apps, movies, TV shows, and music. Before iCloud was around, we all relied on having a computer to use alongside our mobile devices. Because of iCloud, we were able to truly ‘cut the chord’. We will be take a look at what that means for our purchases and I’ll wrap everything up with a look at iTunes match.

iCloud Drive Has Arrived!
- By Integr8
Here it is, the second installation of the iCloud series. Today I’ll be discussing the newly released iCloud Drive. If you’re not familiar with this service, iCloud Drive is in short, a place on your personal piece of Apple’s servers. You’re able to store multiple file types in iCloud Drive such as, music files, Adobe files, Microsoft documents, photos, documents from Apple’s productivity suite, and PDFs. I could continue, but I figured we should get to the good stuff already.

Photos With iCloud
- By Integr8
There are numerous aspects to the iCloud service. It’s becoming more and more difficult to simply describe what iCloud does as a whole without causing even more confusion. In order to explain iCloud as best I can, I am writing a series of posts to cover the numerous features in more depth. I have found the majority of people I’ve helped describe their photos as being the most valuable piece of data on their iPhones, iPads, iPod Touches and their computers. With this being the case, I will start the series off with how the Photos feature in iCloud works.

What’s Going On With This Thing?
- By Integr8
No matter what the manufacturers say, it might seem as though we just can’t get optimal battery life from our mobile devices. In most cases, this has nothing to do with the hardware, but instead, how we’re using our phone. Actually, more like how certain apps are using our phone. Prior to iOS 8, we weren’t able to easily see which apps were draining our battery without setting up a Genius Bar appointment at the Apple Store. Now, we can get this information directly from our phone by following these steps.

iOS 8 Steps Up Its Safari Game
- By Integr8
With the new larger displays on the latest iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, you might find yourself using the device to surf the web even more than before. I personally have increased my data consumption significantly because the larger screen is enough reason to reach for my iPhone 6 Plus instead of my iPad. This isn’t always the case; however, when I’m on the go, it tends to be more convenient to use my phone. In this post I’m going to share two new features that were previously reserved for using Safari on your computer.

While I haven’t found a list of vehicles this impacts, my 2013 Toyota Tacoma happened to be one of them.

Buying A New iOS Device? Check This Out First.
- By Integr8
As many of you might be aware already, Apple has taken steps to help protect it’s customers from becoming victims of hardware theft. With iOS 7, they introduced a feature called Activation Lock. When you sign in to iCloud on your Apple mobile devices, not only do you have access to Find My iPhone but in the event that it is stolen, the device will be useless without having the proper username and password for the iCloud account associated with it. Apple’s goal with implementing this feature was to deter criminals from stealing Apple technology. While in a perfect world, this would mean that no one would ever steal your iPhone again; however, the fact is, there are some people out there who don’t seem to care. Apple is aware of this reality and has yet again given us a tool to help protect us.
